Only cider to be found in the states is located in Boston. It's give and take on that one.

I've been reading the Botany of Desire recently and was reading about how much hard cider (One thing he talks about extensively is the apple) was produced here til (Cider was so abundant, puritans even made it an exception to their no fun or alcohol rule), and about how johnny appleseed planted apples specifically for cider (His apples were nasty any other way, good ones can only be grafted). Apparently a lot of his apple orchards and such were destroyed during prohibition. That makes me sad because now there is a lack of cider here, good or bad. sigh. fuck prohibition.
