Yes, that is an awful drawing of "Bob", who appeared to me that day, asking for money, as usual. BUT SURPRISE NYU HAS ALL OF IT
#15: Deferring 2: NYU Strikes Back
Thursday, 4 September 2008

Is there a Wikipedia article on cracking joints? Yes, of course. There’s also a HowStuffWorks on it. Apparently cracking is caused by cavitation, wherein gases dissolved in your joint-juices (synovial fluid) form bubbles which pop as the pressure in the fluid drops due to joint stretching. Also, popping your knuckles won’t give you arthritis, probably.

Which is great, because I can hardly move without a few joints cracking. And I particularly enjoy popping my back. Pop pop pop.

There’ll be more fun “Deferring” comics eventually, but: tomorrow’s is about Blade Runner. Yaaaaay

GIVE ME SLACK OR GIVE ME DEATH

i am enjoying these newfangled COLOURED COMICS

also, popping your knuckles won’t give you arthritis but it can cause loss of grip strength, joint stretching and a lot of other problems.

I am too! They take longer, but what else am I going to do, really?

So if I pop my knucks too much I’ll end up being That Guy in mountain climbing/action/SF movies that has to JUST HOLD ON, HOLD ON but then loses his grip and falls screaming to his “death” only to come back later as the villain, shoot.
