Apologies to Pat McCreery, who is actually a really swell guy. But jeez, trying to get anything done at NYU is like pulling teef.
#25: Deferring 3: NYU Phone Tag
Thursday, 18 September 2008

So I colored today’s comic with that Turkish coffee from the first panel. Representing things with what once constituted them and all that. See also: Art I II III.

So! Did you know that The Mountain Goats and Kaki King made a song called Thank You Mario But Our Princess Is In Another Castle? I found out yesterday, it’s great! Also: here’s an Uncle Monsterface track on the same topic. Enjoy!

Also, FC! should be on the right time zone now (UTC-5). Thanks for pointing out that it wasn’t, Frank.

That’s it for tonight, See you tomorrow!

If/When I transfer, I imagine I’ll be having the same delightful experiences as you are currently having. Oh college administrations! I hope you don’t have to make many more phone calls to get stuff done.

Turkish coffee does sound tasty though. I think the best coffee I’ve tasted was made “the Pastun way” which my sister says had condensed milk in it (it was super thick). Something like that.

there is a special circle in hell reserved for all the fat, lazy, severely mentally retarded bastards also known as UNDERGRADUATE ADVISORS

    raaaaage

Actually, most of my undergrad advisers are good but flaky. One of the big things that college has taught me is that you need to be persistent and annoying and preferably actually physically in front of people to get anything at all done.

    N8: Sorry!

    or, SUCK IT UP

lucky! at least they dispense actual advice.
me: I’m not sure what I should major in.
advisor: well, you should major in what you like.

NO SHIT. I wasted 30 minutes in line to hear that.
